Exhibit A: Apparently, eating the broccoli and brussel sprouts was not enough. A young moose, judging by the hoofprints, decided to sample the swiss chard and collards in the wee hours, but ignored the kale.
Since moving to the rock, I find I do not miss moose.
No dodging them on the road, no having to go around to the back door because one's sleeping on the porch and ... well, that's pretty much it, since I never had a garden (or ornamental trees).
The only things that run into the road here in Kodiak are deer, but they're are so small you don't even notice hitting them.

There is a reason the moose ignore kale... It needs loads of cooking just to be palatable!
